9-11 Observance

On September 11, 2002 fire departments from around Kent County joined us in an observance. We were very happy to get participation from each of the ambulance transport agencies and the Kent County Sheriff and Michigan State Police. Plainfield hosted the observance but everyone who attended contributed.

The bag pipers wait for the program to start.

The Firefighters lead the way, Law Enforcement and EMS are just out of view.

Several hundred people enjoyed the program including several classes from local schools. After the programs conclusion everyone adjourned to the fire station for cake and punch.
