A Forest Fire Threatens Homes

On April 16th, 2008, during an unusual Spring dry spell, someone started burning leaves despite a state-wide burning ban.  The fire spread into the woods behind a township subdivision, threatening several homes.  Township firefighters got the blaze under control before it could damage any structures.
